JURISDICTIONAL LEVEL

At the jurisdictional level, the Jurisdictional Supervisor appoints the President with the consent of the Jurisdictional Bishop.  The President is responsible for organizing the Jurisdictional Chapter, which comprises women from her jurisdiction.

The Jurisdictional Chapter should meet at least quarterly with the approval of your Jurisdictional Supervisor.

The area of focus may vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction; however, the focus of the Jurisdictional Chapter should be reflective of the national aims and objectives to support the education of youth and to assist the less fortunate sick and shut-in.  Consult with your Jurisdictional Supervisor to see what area of focus your jurisdictional chapter will focus on and develop your program around this area.

The Jurisdictional President and the other jurisdictional officers should be resource persons for assisting District Chapters in organizing and developing.  A resource database by profession or expertise should be maintained.

It is requested that the Jurisdictional President along with her workers remember the Jurisdictional Bishop and Jurisdictional Supervisor during Ministers and Workers' Meeting in the spring and the Jurisdictional Convocation in the summer.

DISTRICT LEVEL

At the district level, the District Missionary appoints the District President with the consent of the District Superintendent and Pastor.  The District Chapter is comprised of women from the district.

The District Chapter should meet at least quarterly with the approval of your District Leaders (i.e. Superintendent and District Missionary).

LOCAL LEVEL

If there are enough business and professional women in a local congregation, they can organize the Business and Professional Women's Federation.  A minimum of five business and professional women may organize a chapter.

The Pastor appoints the President.  She organizes the local chapter that is comprised of the women from the local church.

The Local Chapter should meet at least monthly with the approval of your Pastor.

It is very important to remember that before a member can move to higher levels (i.e. district, state and national) of work in the Business and Professional Women's Federation she first and foremost must be faithful to God and then to her local church
